well ... it's from japan ....

in a city with such amount of habitants (tokio) there's a system needed to get all those ppl to their job.
The streets are more full than the subway - so they use the sub.
Therefor the japanese society is so tough that all ppl need to arrive at his work in time. To be late is not an option in japan.
